The Gravity PIR Motion Sensor Arduino Compatible allows you to sense motion, almost always used to detect whether a human has moved in or out of the sensors range. It is small, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use and dosen't wear out.

Did the trick
'- Works consisitently at up to 12ish feet. - Not adjustable, but can be retriggered every 3 seconds (or so) - lights up when triggered (which is great for troubleshooting)

Good motion sensing
I used it on a wearable project and it worked perfectly. It is small and work on 3.3v which make it perfect to work with Raspberry Pi or make it accessible for an Intel Edison.
