The Gravity: Flexible 8x32 RGB LED Matrix is a versatile and innovative module designed for dynamic visual displays. This square panel integrates seamlessly with the Arduino I/O expansion shield through a soldered XH2.54 3-pin interface, ensuring ease of use and compatibility.
The module features WS2812 or SK6812 intelligent control LEDs, allowing each LED to be independently addressed with RGB pixels capable of achieving 256 levels of brightness, resulting in a spectrum of 16,777,216 colors. The scanning frequency of the panel is no less than 400Hz, ensuring smooth and vibrant visual output.
This LED matrix operates on a single wire control board and includes a specially customized cable for direct compatibility with Arduino I/O expansion shields, eliminating the need for soldering. Additionally, the module supports cascading control, enabling users to connect multiple panels by linking the Din to the DOUT port. Utilizing the open-source Arduino library, an entire array of LEDs can be controlled using just one pin, simplifying the process of creating complex lighting patterns and effects.
Note: Each LED requires a maximum current of 18mA. When using multiple modules, it is recommended to power them via the Servo Power Port on the DFRobot Gravity IO expansion board.
