The FingerTech Viper Combat Robot Kit - Radio & Rechargeable 9V is an ideal entry point into the world of combat robotics, offering both functionality and the potential for future enhancements. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components to begin participating in competitive robotics, such as a robust chassis, motors, wheels, speed controllers, and protective armor, along with a detailed instruction manual. Designed specifically for the 1lb Antweight class, it is suitable for individuals aged 10 and above, or 6 and above with parental supervision.
The kit features a custom-formed 6061-T6 Aluminum chassis, providing both strength and ample space for potential upgrades. It is equipped with two FingerTech 'Silver Spark' gearmotors paired with 2.25-inch foam wheels, delivering both speed and pushing power essential for competitive performance. The inclusion of two FingerTech 'tinyESC' speed controllers ensures precise motor movement and supplies 5V power to the radio system.
For safety, the robot is outfitted with UHMW and polycarbonate combat armor. An optional 6-channel radio transmitter and receiver pair can be included to enhance control capabilities. The base weight of the robot is 313 grams, allowing for an additional 141 grams of parts to be added, facilitating customization and optimization for specific combat scenarios.
