The FingerTech Urethane Sumo Wheel 3.00" is a high-performance wheel designed for competitive sumo robots. It features a robust construction with a black anodized aluminum rim, which is machined to include rings and captive through-slots that ensure the tire tread remains securely in place. The tire is crafted from Shore A20 polyurethane, renowned for its exceptional traction, making it an ideal choice for sumo robots weighing up to 6kg. For applications where the wheels may encounter rough terrain or potential damage, a Shore A45 variant is available, offering a stiffer and more durable option.
This wheel is available in a variety of colors, with each unit being custom-made to order. The manufacturing process includes professional vacuum-degassing to enhance the material's performance. The wheel's design incorporates a 1/8" keyway and requires a hub to attach securely to a shaft, with hubs available in multiple bore diameters to accommodate different motor shaft sizes.
Note: Clean the tires with isopropyl alcohol wipes before each match to maintain optimal traction.
