Ensures precise motor control with 8x increased frequency
Protects with undervoltage, overcurrent, and reverse-polarity safeguards
Eliminates need for extra receiver battery with built-in BEC
Handles up to 5A-stall motors for short robotic operations
Shuts off if signal loss occurs, enhancing failsafe controls
The FingerTech TinyESC v3 is an advanced bi-directional brushed single motor controller designed for compact and lightweight applications. This device is engineered to deliver robust performance with built-in protections against undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, reverse-polarity, and includes a battery eliminator circuit (BEC) that provides 5V to the receiver, eliminating the need for an additional receiver battery.
This upgraded version features a more responsive microcontroller with an increased clockspeed and higher PWM motor output, ensuring precise motor control. The calibration function further enhances precision driving, while status LEDs provide clear indications for power, directional movement, signal loss failsafe, and calibration status.
The TinyESC v3 is particularly suited for short-duration robotic operations, capable of handling up to 5A stall motors. It is compatible with a variety of motors, including FingerTech's own Silver Spark motors and other popular models. The device's internal BEC can supply 600mA, supporting power-hungry telemetry receivers without the need for a separate BEC.
Note: Multiple motors on a single TinyESC cannot be independently controlled, necessitating one ESC per side for standard drive configurations.
