The Elecrow Arduino Automatic Smart Plant Watering Kit 2.1 (US Plug) is a sophisticated system designed to automate the process of plant watering. This kit is built on the foundation of Arduino Leonardo and incorporates a Real-Time Clock (RTC) to schedule watering sessions. Additionally, it features a 0.96-inch OLED screen that displays the time and the status of soil moisture.
The kit is equipped with a pump, capacitive soil moisture sensors, a water switch that can accommodate up to four plants, and pipes to distribute water. The soil moisture sensor is constructed from corrosion-resistant material, ensuring its longevity. This set facilitates the easy establishment and customization of intelligent plant monitoring systems.
The system operates by utilizing soil moisture sensors to gauge the moisture level in the soil. Based on this data, it sends commands to the switch to water-specific plants. The kit can be powered using a DC power supply, thus eliminating the need for disorganized jumpers and breadboards. The kit comprises various components including the Smart Pump Shield v2.1, Capacitive Moisture Sensors, water pipe, adapter, valve, water pump, and cables.
