The 36mm Diameter High Torque Planetary Gear Motor, 24V, 235RPM is a compact and cost-effective motor and planetary (epicyclic) gearbox combination, providing a speed and torque output that makes it ideal for use as a drive motor in robotics applications of up to 60kg. It features a long output shaft, 8mm in diameter, for easy mounting of wheels, pulleys, and other accessories.
The motor can be operated with a voltage between 6-30V DC. Operating characteristics are provided for operation at 12V and 24V DC.
This motor is smaller and higher speed, making it popular with robotics hobbyists and special effects designers. The long output shaft is designed to make mounting as easy and secure as possible, though larger overhanging loads should be supported independently.
Two copper tabs at the back of the body can be used to solder or crimp wires to. Alternatively, we offer an option of 500mm long silicone insulated leads (1mm2) to be installed ready for use. Please note that orders with this option will take an extra working day to process, as the leads are soldered and insulated to order.
