The 36mm Diameter High Torque 12V Planetary Gear Motor, 220RPM is a compact and cost-effective motor and planetary (epicyclic) gearbox combination, with a speed and torque output that makes it suitable for use as a drive motor in robotics applications from 3 to 60kg. This motor features a long output shaft, 8mm in diameter, which allows for easy mounting of wheels, pulleys and other accessories.
The motor can be operated between 6 and 30V DC. Operating characteristics are provided for operation at either 12V or 24V DC. This motor is smaller and higher speed, making it popular with robotics hobbyists and special effects designers. The long output shaft is designed to make mounting as easy as possible, but it is important to ensure that any larger overhanging loads are independently supported.
Two copper tabs at the back of the body can be used to solder or crimp wires to. Alternatively, we offer an option for 500mm long silicone insulated leads (1mm2) to be installed and ready for use. Please note that if a lead option is added, it will take an extra working day to process your order, as these are soldered and insulated to order.
