The 25D High Torque DC Gear Motor for Smart Vehicles - 12V 53RPM is composed of a high-power, 12V brushed DC motor that is paired with a metal spur gearbox. The gearbox contains two sets of gears, which allows for increased torque compared to other motors of the same size.

This gearmotor can be used as a substitute for planetary gear motors, but at a significantly lower price.
