The Dragino Weather Sensor for Rain & Snow Detection is an advanced RS485 rain and snow detection sensor. It is capable of monitoring weather events such as rainfall or snowfall. One of its key features is an automatic heating function, which enhances the reliability of its measurements.

This sensor is specifically designed to be compatible with the Dragino Weather Station solution. To use, simply connect the RS485 interface of the sensor to a WSC1-L main processor. The WSC1-L processor is then able to detect and transmit data regarding snow or rain events to the IoT Server using the wireless LoRaWAN protocol.
