The Dragino Total Solar Radiation sensor is an advanced instrument designed to measure total solar radiation within the spectral range of 0.3 to 3 micrometers. This sensor is equipped with a high-precision photosensitive element that ensures excellent stability and accuracy. It features a precision-machined PTTE radiation cover that effectively shields the sensing element from environmental influences, thereby maintaining its performance integrity.
This sensor is specifically engineered to integrate seamlessly with the Dragino Weather Station solution. It connects via an RS485 interface to the WSC1-L main processor, which facilitates the detection and wireless transmission of total solar radiation data to an IoT server using the LoRaWAN protocol. The sensor is capable of measuring reflected radiation when its sensing area is oriented towards the ground, and it can also measure scattered radiation with the use of a shading ring.
Note: Ensure proper installation and handling to maintain sensor accuracy and performance.
