Powered by solar panel and 3000mAh Li-ion battery
The Dragino MDS200-LS LoRaWAN Microwave Radar Distance Sensor (3000mAh Li-Ion & Solar Panel / US915) utilizes 24GHz microwave technology to accurately measure distances between the sensor and various objects. This method is particularly effective in environments with condensation or dust, where traditional ultrasonic or Lidar methods may falter. The sensor maintains accuracy even when covered by water or thick dust.
This device is versatile, suitable for applications such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, and sewer monitoring. It is capable of measuring the distance to the nearest object and the subsequent object behind it.
The MDS200-LS features an alarm function that triggers data uplink at shorter intervals when the measured distance falls outside a predefined range. Leveraging LoRa wireless technology, the sensor achieves ultra-long-range communication with high interference immunity while maintaining low power consumption. It supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing user convenience.
Powered by a solar panel and a 3000mAh Li-ion battery, the MDS200-LS is designed for long-term operation, potentially lasting up to five years. Each unit comes pre-loaded with unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, facilitating automatic connection to a local LoRaWAN server upon activation.
