The Dragino LPS8v2 Indoor LoRaWAN Gateway 4G EC25-AFX is an advanced open-source gateway designed to bridge LoRa wireless networks with IP networks through WiFi, Ethernet, or an optional 4G module. This gateway facilitates the transmission of data over long distances at low data rates, fully adhering to the LoRaWAN protocol. It supports various LoRaWAN network connections, including Semtech UDP Packet Forwarder, LoRaWAN Basic Station, and ChirpStack MQTT Bridge, ensuring compatibility with most LoRaWAN platforms available in the market.
The LPS8v2 is equipped with a built-in LoRaWAN server and IoT server, enabling system integrators to deploy IoT services without relying on cloud services or third-party servers. It comes pre-configured with different LoRaWAN frequency bands suitable for various countries, while also allowing users to customize these bands for their specific LoRa network needs. The gateway supports remote management, allowing system integrators to monitor and maintain it with ease.
This device operates on an open-source Debian system and can be managed via a Web GUI or SSH through WAN or WiFi. It offers features such as auto-provisioning for batch deployment and management, and ten programmable parallel demodulation paths. The LPS8v2 is pre-configured to support different LoRaWAN regional settings and allows for the customization of these parameters.
