The Dragino LPS8N Indoor LoRaWAN Gateway (US915) is an advanced open-source device designed to bridge LoRa wireless networks with IP networks through WiFi or Ethernet connections. This gateway facilitates the transmission of data over extensive distances at low data rates, leveraging the LoRa wireless technology. It is equipped with a Semtech packet forwarder and is fully compliant with the LoRaWAN protocol, ensuring seamless integration and operation within LoRa networks.
The gateway features a SX1302/03 LoRa concentrator, which supports 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths, enhancing its capability to handle multiple data streams simultaneously. It comes with pre-configured standard LoRaWAN frequency bands suitable for various countries, while also allowing users the flexibility to customize frequency bands for specific network requirements. An optional cellular version is available, offering 3G/4G connectivity to the internet, thus expanding its versatility in different deployment scenarios.
The Dragino LPS8N is managed through a Web GUI or SSH via LAN or WiFi, providing users with convenient remote management options. It is particularly suitable for applications in smart buildings, home automation, logistics, supply chain management, smart metering, agriculture, cities, and factories.
