The Dragino LHT65S-E5 LoRaWAN Temperature, Humidity & Illuminance Sensor (US915) is a long-range sensor designed for professional wireless sensor network applications. It is equipped with an integrated temperature and humidity sensor, as well as an external illuminance sensor. The LHT65S-E5 is capable of transmitting data over extremely long distances, offering ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity while maintaining minimal current consumption. It is ideally suited for applications such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, and building automation.
The LHT65S-E5 is powered by a built-in 2400 mAh non-rechargeable battery, designed to last for over a decade. The device is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN v1.0.3 Class A protocol, allowing it to work seamlessly with a standard LoRaWAN gateway. The longevity of the battery life is dependent on the frequency of data transmission.
The device boasts a range of features, including compatibility with the LoRaWAN Class A protocol, a variety of frequency bands, the ability to change parameters using AT commands, remote configuration of parameters via LoRaWAN Downlink, and firmware that can be upgraded via the program port. It also includes a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, an external illuminance sensor, and a tri-color LED to indicate status. The built-in humidity sensor provides a resolution of 0.04 %RH, an accuracy tolerance of ±3 %RH, and a long-term drift of less than 0.02 °C per year, with an operating range of 0 to 96 %RH. The external illuminance sensor, based on the BH1750 Illumination Sensor, has a cable length of 50 cm, a resolution of 1 lx, a range of 0-65535 lx, and an operating range of -40 to 85 °C.
