The Dragino LDS12-LS LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF Distance Sensor (3000mAh Li-Ion & Solar Panel / US915) is an advanced device engineered for Internet of Things applications. It employs laser induction technology to measure distances ranging from 10 centimeters to 12 meters with high precision. This sensor is versatile, suitable for various applications such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent waste management systems, robotic obstacle avoidance, automatic control, and sewer monitoring.

The device transmits distance data wirelessly to a LoRaWAN IoT Server, leveraging LoRa wireless technology to achieve long-range communication with low data rates. This ensures robust communication with high interference immunity while maintaining minimal power consumption. The LDS12-LS is equipped with Bluetooth configuration and supports wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing user convenience.

Powered by a solar panel and a 3000mAh Li-ion battery, the sensor is designed for extended use, potentially lasting up to five years. It comes pre-loaded with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration, allowing for automatic connection to a local server upon activation.
