The Dragino DS03A-LS LoRaWAN Open/Close Door Sensor (3000mAh Li-Ion & Solar Panel / US915) is an advanced device designed for Internet of Things applications, specifically for monitoring door status. It detects and reports door open and close events to an IoT server via the LoRaWAN network, enabling users to track door status, open duration, and frequency of use. Utilizing LoRa wireless technology, it ensures long-range communication with high interference immunity while maintaining low power consumption.

The sensor transmits data every two hours and upon each door action, with the option to disable immediate uplinks for each event. It features a Datalog capability to store data when the network is unavailable, uploading it once connectivity is restored. An Open Alarm Feature allows users to set alerts if a door remains open beyond a specified time.

Designed for outdoor environments, the DS03A-LS is housed in a weatherproof enclosure and powered by a solar panel and a 3000mAh Li-ion battery, supporting up to five years of operation. It offers BLE configuration and wireless OTA updates for user convenience. Pre-loaded with unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, it connects automatically to a local server upon activation.
