The Dragino DDS04-LS LoRaWAN 4-Channels Distance Detection Sensor (3000mAh Li-Ion & Solar Panel / US915) is an advanced device designed for Internet of Things applications. It is capable of accommodating up to four ultrasonic sensors to measure distances simultaneously, making it ideal for various applications such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management systems, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, and sewer monitoring. The sensor detects the distance between an object and itself, transmitting this data wirelessly to a LoRaWAN IoT Server.
Utilizing LoRa wireless technology, the DDS04-LS offers ultra-long range communication with high interference immunity while maintaining low power consumption. It supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing user convenience. The device is powered by a solar panel and a 3000mAh Li-ion battery, ensuring long-term operation of up to five years. Pre-loaded with unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, it can automatically connect to a local LoRaWAN server upon activation.
