The Dragino D20S-LB LoRaWAN Outdoor Temp. Sensor Node 1 Probe (8500mAh Li/SOCl2 / US915) is an advanced temperature sensor designed for Internet of Things applications. It efficiently converts temperature readings into LoRaWAN wireless data, transmitting it to an IoT platform through a LoRaWAN gateway. This device leverages LoRa wireless technology to facilitate data transmission over extensive distances at low data rates, ensuring robust communication with high interference resistance while conserving energy.
The sensor is capable of measuring temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C with a precision of ±0.5°C, and it includes a temperature alarm feature for immediate alerts. Additionally, it offers a Datalog function to store data when the LoRaWAN network is unavailable, uploading it once connectivity is restored. The device supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing user convenience.
Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar power with a Li-ion battery, the sensor is engineered for prolonged use, potentially lasting up to five years. Each unit is equipped with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration, enabling automatic connection to a local LoRaWAN server upon activation. The sensor features LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A compliance, ultra-low power consumption, a 2-meter DS18B20 temperature sensor, Bluetooth v5.1 support, and an IP66 waterproof enclosure.
