The Dobot CR20A Robot Arm enhances the capabilities of the CR series by increasing the payload capacity to 20 kg, thereby expanding its applicability across various industries such as automotive, home appliances, logistics, and metal processing. It is designed to handle demanding tasks like heavy-duty picking, packing, palletizing, and welding with a working radius of 1,700 mm. The robot incorporates a pioneering dual-channel end effector design, allowing for direct connection to multiple end tools, and features a visual status indicator at its base for easy monitoring of its operational status.
The CR20A is equipped with an advanced motion control algorithm that ensures stable operation and significantly reduces residual vibrations during high-speed emergency stops. It offers extensive connectivity options with 24 digital IO ports and supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols, facilitating seamless integration with PLC systems. The robot and its control box are built to a high protection level of IP54, ensuring safer collaboration. Additionally, it includes an innovative electromagnetic brake protection system that minimizes the drop distance of the end tool in the event of a power failure.
