The DFRobot URM06 - Narrow Beam Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (20～1000Cm, RS485) is an advanced device designed for precise distance measurement. Utilizing ultrasonic pulses, it calculates the distance to a target object by measuring the time taken for the pulse to travel to the object and back. This sensor is adept at detecting displacement, thickness, distance, water levels, material levels, and even transparent objects. It offers a detection range from 20 cm to 10 meters and is housed in a compact, robust PVC casing suitable for 35 mm electrical pipe mounting.
