The DFRobot Mmwave - 24GHz Human Presence Sensing Module (6 m) is a highly sensitive radar module designed to detect human presence within a specified area. It employs frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology, combined with radar signal processing and an accurate human sensing algorithm, to discern both moving and stationary human targets. This module is also capable of calculating auxiliary information, such as the distance to the target.
The performance of this radar module is not affected by environmental factors such as temperature, brightness, humidity, or light fluctuations. The FMCW radar's ability to penetrate materials allows the module to function effectively even when enclosed in a shell, without the need for openings.
Primarily intended for indoor use, this microwave radar can detect moving or micro-moving humans within its detection area and relay the results in real-time. It boasts a sensing distance of up to 6 meters and a resolution of 0.75m.
The module also features a serial communication protocol, enabling users to adjust the sensing distance range, sensitivity at various intervals, and delay time to suit different applications.
The DFRobot Mmwave - 24GHz Human Presence Sensing Module (6 Meters) supports UART and GPIO (high and low level) output. When paired with Arduino or other controllers, it can be utilized in a wide range of projects, including smart light control, human body induction for advertising screens, UV light control, and home security.
