The DFRobot ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1 Development Board is an entry-level platform designed for developers seeking to explore the capabilities of the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 module. This module is a versatile Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® LE MCU, offering comprehensive wireless connectivity and a rich set of peripherals. The board facilitates easy interfacing through pin headers, allowing developers to connect peripherals using jumper wires or mount the board on a breadboard.
The ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 module is built around the ESP32-S3 series of SoCs, which are optimized for neural network computing and signal processing tasks. This makes the board particularly suitable for applications in the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) domain, including wake word detection, speech command recognition, face detection and recognition, as well as smart home and appliance integration.
The development board is equipped with a USB-to-UART port for power supply, application flashing, and communication with the chip. It also features a boot button for firmware download mode and a reset button for system restart. The board's USB interface supports full-speed USB OTG, compliant with USB 1 specifications, and is used for power supply, application flashing, and JTAG debugging.
Note: Ensure proper handling of the board to avoid exposure to temperatures outside the operating range of –40 to 85℃.
