DFRobot proudly presents Devastator Tank Mobile Platform, its newest track mobile robot platform. It is fully compatible with most popular controllers in the market such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi and so on (Not included).
The Devastator uses high-strength aluminum alloy which makes it extremely solid and durable. The high-speed motors and premium tracks also allow it to move swiftly everywhere. Also, it benefits from a high performance suspension and enjoys an outstanding mobility across even the toughest terrains.
Users are able to add various sensors, servos, turntables and controllers (e.g. Romeo All-in-one, Raspberry Pi Model B+) due to the multiple mounting holes on the Devastator platform. It is perfect for hobbyists, competitions, educational and research projects.

If you are looking for a strong and sturdy platform for your mobile robot project, I do recommend this Devastator, very nice build, strong parts. I was very impressed with it after assembly.
Order processed & shipped promptly, what was supposed to be Canada Post expedited took two weekends & six business days, but that's an issue with Canada Post, not RobotShop. Frustrating though. The very nicely manufactured chassis assembled easily & it was a simple task to remove one link from each of the too loose tracks. Lots of extra hardware, which was thoughtful & appreciated. Ample machined holes & slots making it fun to expand my project. I installed an Arduino Uno & tried to use both an L298N motor controller & an Adafruit L293 Vr.1 motor controller. The supplied motors would not work properly with either, even with adding 0.1uf capacitors. They did work fine with the Adafruit Vr.2 motor controller. Because I wanted to use the Adafruit Vr.1, I purchased two inexpensive geared motors from a local retailer which worked fine, and were slightly faster. Happy with my purchase. Only regret that I didnt wait to order the out of stock metal geared motor version.
Ça a l'air vraiment cool!
