The Dagu Robot NTC Thermal module is very sensitive to the ambient temperature, which is generally used to detect the ambient temperature. Thermistor is a kind of sensitive element. It can be divided into positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC) and negative temperature coefficient thermistor (NTC) according to different temperature coefficient.
The typical characteristic of thermistors is that they are sensitive to temperature and show different resistance values at different temperatures. The higher the temperature is, the higher the resistance of positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC) is, and the lower the resistance of negative temperature coefficient thermistor (NTC) is. The module is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor. Because the resistance value of the module changes nonlinearly according to the temperature change, the module selects pull-up resistor.
