The Cytron ADXL345 3-Axis Accelerometer Breakout (GY-291) is a compact sensor board featuring the ADXL345 accelerometer integrated circuit. It offers high-resolution, 13-bit measurement capabilities for detecting both static and dynamic acceleration up to 16 g. The digital output is accessible via SPI or I2C interfaces, making it suitable for various applications including tilt-sensing and motion detection.

This accelerometer can sense activity, inactivity, and free fall, with the ability to detect single and double taps in any direction. Sensitivity levels are adjustable, allowing for precise measurement of slow or rapid movements.
