Acceleration, deceleration feature; soft limit left and right feature
Continuous current 12A, maximum 30A, maximum 300W
The Smart H Bridge Driver Brushed Motor Controller w/ Speed Control, 10 40V, 30A Max is designed to control a brushed DC motor in terms of velocity and direction. It is equipped with MOSFETs and a 16 KHz switching frequency for optimal performance and reduced noise.
The driver is a Smart H Bridge Driver which supports the Acceleration/Deceleration feature. This will reduce sudden changes in velocity, thus protecting both the mechanical and electrical components in many cases. It is suitable for a wide range of applications.
The driver also supports two Electric Current Home Sensors, which limit the movement of the motor in both directions. This eliminates the need for additional external limit switches. The driver monitors the current when the motor is running; if it is equal to the iLimit (set by a potentiometer on the PCB), the driver sets a Touched Flag and stops movement in that direction. To move again, the driver must be controlled in the opposite direction or the Touched Flag must be cleared.
The driver supports various protection methods such as Under voltage, Over voltage, Over temperature, and Over Current. These protective features are essential for a reliable protection system.
Additionally, the Smart H Bridge Driver supports a variety of communication methods. The user can easily select the desired method using the Dip Switch on the PCB: PWM/Dir, PWM Bi Direction, Analog/Dir, Analog Bi Direction, UART, and PPM Signal (RC).
