This product replaces Carbide 3D Shapeoko XXL Robust CNC Router Kit w/Carbide Router and is an improved version.

The Carbide3D Shapeoko XXL Z-Plus CC Router 65mm has four times the cutting area for your biggest projects. Shapeoko comes with an industrial-grade motion controller running GRBL firmware, homing switches, and 4 NEMA 23 stepper motors.

The rest of the frame is 10 gauge steel. Carbide 3D has put extra bends in strategic locations to add more stiffness and powder coated the steel to make the finish as durable as possible. The most powerful CNC router in its class. It uses a 1.25 hp spindle and NEMA 23 motors for motion control.

Works great!

Considering the complexity of the Carbide 3D Shapeoko XXL, it was relatively quick and easy to set up. Made my first wasteboard and it was impressive. Great customer service with this company, I know I can ask any question and they will respond quickly. I would highly recommend this product and company. Looking forward to many more projects. Very capable CNC Router

Delivery was very fast - 3 days after ordering it was at my doorstep. Very impressed for free shipping. The box was beat up pretty good, and the router had a few deep gashes, but operates just fine. Assembly instructions were very easy to follow, and it took about 3 hours to put together. It is very important to get the V-wheels set correctly, and to square and level the machine at this time. The manual has you square and level and the end, but your v wheels may not sit correctly if you don't. It is also hard to square and level once the belts are on. Overall very impressed, and the Shapeoko has been a lot of fun. The XXL has a very large cutting area which has been helpful for making large signs. The one thing to know is that the specified max cut area of the XXL actually cuts past the frame on the front - keep that in mind if you plan on building an enclosure. It is kind of nice though as it allows for your CNC router to do edge work.
