The BlueRobotics 400 mm Watertight Aluminum Enclosure Tube (3-Inch) is crafted from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. This series of tubes represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of watertight enclosure tubes. It features precision-machined O-ring interfaces at each end, which ensure a consistent and reliable fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish of the tube guarantees proper sealing between the O-ring flange and the tube.
Additionally, each end of the tube is machined with a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion. The slot for cord insertion also serves as an anti-rotation feature, aligning with a feature on the flange. This design maintains a consistent orientation between the flange and the tube, preventing the user from rotating the flange and potentially causing damage to the contents of the enclosure.
