The BlueRobotics 3-inch Enclosure Locking O-Ring Flange is designed to create a secure, high-pressure watertight interface between a tube and an end cap. This versatile component can be used with both flat and dome end caps, and is also compatible with custom-made end caps.
The flange is crafted from anodized aluminum and features dual radial O-rings and a face seal O-ring, ensuring reliable high-pressure sealing. It also includes a locking cord gland and an anti-rotation feature for added stability and security. The flange is accompanied by a PTFE locking cord and locking cord handles, which serve to firmly secure the flange to the tube.
This product is specifically designed to be compatible with precision machined enclosure tubes, which have specific features at each end to interface with the flange. The flange also boasts four internal mounting holes, providing a convenient means of securely attaching internal contents. This particular feature is utilized in the BlueROV2 to hold the electronics tray.
