The Bitcraze Loco Positioning Node is an adaptable device primarily utilized as an Anchor within positioning systems. It functions by measuring the distance between Nodes and Tags, enabling the calculation of the absolute position of objects equipped with Tags. This device supports multiple operational modes, including Anchor and Sniffer modes, and offers a limited Two-Way Ranging (TWR) Tag mode, although this mode does not provide position estimation.
The system can operate independently, with certain Nodes serving as Anchors and a single Node acting as a Tag to report distances to the Anchors. The device is equipped with an onboard microcontroller unit (MCU) and offers various powering options to suit different operational needs.
