The Big Easy Driver is a stepper motor driver board for bi-polar stepper motors up to a max 2A/phase. It is based on the Allegro A4988 stepper driver chip. Each Big Easy Driver can drive up to a max of 2A per phase of a bi-polar stepper motor. It is a chopper microstepping driver which defaults to 16 step microstepping mode. It can take a maximum motor drive voltage of around 30V, and includes on-board 5V/3.3V regulation, so only one supply is necessary.
I advise you to affix a heat sink; despite its effectiveness, the chip becomes very hot.

ce conducteur a fait un excellent travail en entraînant un moteur pas à pas de 2 A (mais pas au couple maximal en raison de problèmes de chauffage). soyez prudent lorsque vous tournez le potentiomètre pour augmenter la puissance à délivrer au moteur, il peut brûler le pilote, j'ai personnellement brûlé deux pilotes. bonne documentation complète. this driver did an excellent job by driving a 2A stepper motor (though, not to it's maximum torque due to heating issues). be careful when turning the potentiometer to increase the power to deliver to the motor, it can burn the driver, I personally burned two drivers. good complete documentation.
