The ARDBOX PLC Relay, Arduino based PLC (GPRS) is an advanced programmable logic controller that integrates multiple communication technologies to cater to a variety of industrial automation needs. It features eight 10-bit analog inputs and two digital optoisolated inputs, along with eight relay outputs for comprehensive control and interfacing capabilities. The device supports a range of industrial communication protocols including I2C, RS232, RS485, and SPI, allowing for versatile connectivity options.
Equipped with LoRa connectivity, this PLC benefits from the Long Range modulation's ability to cover wide areas and its high resistance to interference. LoRas Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) modulation, originally used in military operations, offers high tolerance to interference, exceptional receiver sensitivity, and low power consumption. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring long-range communication, such as Smart Grid Management, Logistics and Fleet Management, Environmental Monitoring, Industrial IoT, and Smart Cities.
The PLC also includes GSM/GPRS connectivity, making it ideal for remote monitoring, data logging, and control. It allows for the customization of SMS messages with both static and dynamic content, which can be sent to predefined phone numbers triggered by various events such as input state changes or alarm thresholds.
Furthermore, the integration of WiFi and BLE technologies enables high-speed and secure communications with a wide range of digital devices. WiFi facilitates internet access without the need for wires, while Bluetooth allows for data exchange over short distances within the ISM 2.4 GHz frequency band.
The ARDBOX PLC is based on an Arduino platform, ensuring ease of programming and instant connectivity. It is designed to be flexible and dynamic, with standardized modules for uniform programming across the ARDBOX PLC family. The system is expandable through the I2C connection, supporting the potential connection of up to 127 modules for extensive input/output configurations.
Please note that the use of this device in certain frequencies is subject to regional regulations and compliance with the ISM Band requirements.
