Eliminates disconnection risk from barrel failures
Injects POE into CAT5 using unused Ethernet pins
Offers two secure power connection options
Connects seamlessly to roboRIO via RJ-45
The AndyMark Power Over Ethernet Injector ensures uninterrupted power supply to OpenMesh Radio by injecting power into a CAT5 Ethernet cable using unused pins. This device eliminates the risk of disconnection due to barrel connector failures, providing a reliable power solution.
For power connection, users can either cut the barrel connector and attach wires directly to a Voltage Regulator Module or use the barrel connector with secure placement. The injector connects to roboRIO via RJ-45, and an Ethernet cable links the female port to the OpenMesh Radio's Ethernet port.
Inserts POE power into a CAT5 Ethernet data cable using unused Ethernet pins 4,5(+) and 7,8(-)
Offers two power connection options:
Cut off the barrel connector and attach the bare wires directly to your Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) or Radio Power Module with 18 AWG Ferrules (am-3738_18)
Use the barrel connector, relocate the connection point to a more secure location, and wrap with electrical tape
Connect the RJ-45 of this unit to your roboRIO
Connect the 12V barrel connector from your Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) to the power port
Run an Ethernet cable from the female port to the Ethernet port closest to the power input on your OpenMesh Radio
