The AndyMark NeveRest Orbital Gearmotor 1:1 ~6600 rpm, JST-VH-2 is a durable planetary gearmotor specifically engineered for the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). This gearmotor features a pre-installed encoder and a centrally positioned output shaft, making it suitable for a variety of applications, from fast-spinning intakes to high-reduction arms. The output shaft is a 6 mm D, and the gearbox housing measures 37 mm in diameter.
The gearmotor is equipped with a JST-VH-2 connector, which is compatible with the FIRST Tech Challenge REV Controller. It is also recognized as legal for use in both the FIRST Tech Challenge and the FIRST Robotics Competition, as per their respective game manuals. The motor incorporates a hall effect encoder with a 7 pulse per revolution (PPR) rating, allowing for precise control and feedback.
This gearmotor is versatile in its applications, being used in various gearbox configurations such as the PicoBox LEO, GEO, and MEO, which facilitate different mechanical functions like chain drives and gear changing. The encoder cable options are not included, but several configurations are available to suit different connection needs.
