The AndyMark DeCIMate Unassembled Gearbox is engineered to integrate one or two AndyMark RedLine Motors, delivering a power output of nearly 700 watts. This gearbox maintains the output speed, size, and weight comparable to a single CIM motor, while offering enhanced power capabilities. It features an identical output shaft and mounting geometry to the CIM motor, making it a versatile choice for various applications.
This gearbox is provided in an unassembled state, requiring minimal assembly with just four screws and an arbor press to install the pinion gears onto the motors and bearings into the plates. The design includes an open case, which contributes to a louder operation due to the rapid spinning gears.
For optimal performance and longevity, it is essential to apply grease to all AndyMark gearboxes. A recommended practice is to operate the gearbox continuously for 30 minutes without grease to allow the gear teeth to wear in, followed by thorough greasing. This process ensures smooth operation and extends the gearbox's lifespan.
Note: The gearbox is louder than most due to its open case and fast-spinning gears.
