The AndyMark 4 Gauge Battery Cable is designed to enhance the performance of competitive robotics by utilizing a larger wire gauge, which reduces resistance and extends the life of circuit breakers. This cable incorporates four gauge multi-strand wires and is equipped with an SB120 Anderson Power Products connector, ensuring compatibility with other power components that use the same connector. The cable's design facilitates efficient power transfer, making it a reliable choice for high-demand applications.
The cable's length is approximately 14.5 inches from tip to tip, including the SB120 connector and connecting lugs. This makes it suitable for various configurations and setups within robotic systems. While it is compatible with FRC robots, it should be noted that it does not align with the 2022 Kit of Parts components, where six gauge cables are recommended. For those needing to convert between different systems, an SB120 to SB50 Battery Adapter Cable is available.
