Numato Labs 2 Channel USB Relay Module is an excellent tool for controlling devices through USB without any prior knowledge of USB protocols

The Numato 2 channel USB Relay Module w/ External Power Supply features two onboard 12V SPDT relays with a maximum switching current of 7A. It has eight TTL (5V) compatible GPIOs, six analog input channels (multiplexed with GPIOs), and a 10-bit analog input resolution. It also has a USB interface with CDC support, making it as easy to use as a serial port, with no USB knowledge required. The relay contacts are available on easy-to-access screw terminals, and the digital circuitry can be powered from either USB or an external power supply. It can be controlled by using standard serial console applications or custom applications, without needing any vendor-specific libraries or APIs.
This module is suitable for a variety of applications, including home automation, industrial automation, lighting control, garden equipment control, test fixtures, and DIY or hobby projects. It is compatible with a range of operating systems, including Windows XP and later, Windows 7 Embedded and later, Linux, Mac OS X, Android, and any other operating system that supports USB CDC devices.
