Description
Featuring an analog output of 0-5V
The sensor is presented with a functional block in AltonaLab IoT software
The Altonalab Air Pressure Sensor is an easy to use board that works within a range of 15kPa to 115kPa, with an accuracy of 1.5%. The board features a connector with three screws for ground, power (+5V), and signal output. The measured output voltage (Vout) of the sensor can be converted to kPa pressure using the expression: P = Vout/0.0045 + 100.55. If the Vout is measured with an ADC of 0-3.3V, an additional connector board with a resistor divider of 1.5k/3.0k is needed.
The sensitive element used is the MPXA6115A6U, which has an operating temperature range of 40C to +125C and is internally temperature compensated. Utilizing the Altonalab software, the board can be used with ease by simply adding the block AltonaSensorAirPress from the Sensors library.
