The 8-Channel Relay Driver Shield drives up to 8 relays from your Arduino using just 2 I/O pins. It communicates with your board using I2C, so you can even stack several shields together to drive 16, 24, or more outputs. Includes back-EMF protection and works with a wide range of relays. Perfect for home automation projects. Maximum output current per channel is 115mA, which is plenty to drive common relays. For larger loads you can use this shield to control FETs or solid state switches.

Very Handy Board!

I've used a bunch of these, mostly for driving 12V LED bulbs for SuzzoHapp push button back-lights. Great for when PWM isn't needed and saving pins is. For one project I used two of them attached to one Arduino (selectable I2C address is great). Love them. I also love the "N-Drive Shield" when I have 6 or less things to drive, pin usage isn't as critical, if I need PWM or more current.

Very Handy, Well Documented

If I don't have 8 things to drive, I'll often use the extra status LEDs to show the status of other things. I also love the "N-Drive Shield" when I have 6 or less things to drive, pin usage isn't as critical, if I need PWM or more current.

J'en ai utilisé beaucoup, principalement pour alimenter des ampoules DEL 12V pour les rétroéclairages à bouton-poussoir SuzzoHapp. Idéal lorsque PWM n’est pas nécessaire et que la sauvegarde des broches l’est. Pour un projet, j'en ai utilisé deux attachés à un Arduino (l'adresse I2C sélectionnable est excellente). Les aime. J'apprécie également les voyants d'état. Si je n'ai pas 8 éléments à piloter, j'utiliserai souvent les voyants d'état supplémentaires pour indiquer l'état d'autres éléments. J'aime aussi le "N-Drive Shield" quand j'ai 6 choses ou moins à conduire, l'utilisation des broches n'est pas aussi critique, si j'ai besoin de PWM ou plus.
