The 4WD Mecanum Wheel Beginner Mobile Robot Kit uses four ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles so the beginners kit can navigate around them. It is also a learning kit. Users can learn logic, soldering, electronics and modular design all while modifying a toy shell into a personal robot.

The most interesting feature of the beginner kit is the ability to learn about mecanum wheels. And the most important feature of mecanum wheel is that they are multi-directional or omni directional. Using the Arduino sample code, you can change orientation of the robot kit as you want.

You can control the movement with forward, backward, turn left or right movements etc. As well as write your own code in C, C++ programming language.
