The Spiderpi Pro Hiwonder Hexapod Robot w/ AI Vision & Robotic Arm Powered By Raspberry Pi 4B 4GBis an upgraded AI vision hexapod robot kit. It has been enhanced with a robotic arm and an array of creative AI games, such as target tracking, smart carrier, face activated fan, and group control.
The Spiderpi Pro is a great tool to learn and verify machine vision, hexapod gait, and robot kinematics. Additionally, it provides solutions for secondary development, such as sensor applications and visual picking. Abundant tutorials and open source code are available to help users get the most out of the Spiderpi Pro.
The Spiderpi Pro features excellent cross country and passing performance, allowing it to cross obstacles, adjust its angle and height to walk on various surfaces. The robotic arm also allows the hexapod robot to execute more tasks, such as picking target objects in 3D space.
The HD camera installed on the end of the robotic arm provides first person vision and extends the rotation range of the camera. The Spiderpi Pro uses OpenCV as its image processing library and FPV to recognize and locate target blocks, enabling line following, target tracking, tag recognition, ball kicking, shape recognition, and face detection.
The 120 degree wide angle HD camera expands the Spiderpi Pros vision recognition range and supports manual focus adjustment. The robotic arm is powered by a high voltage serial bus servo, which has higher accuracy, feedback, and longer service life compared to traditional 7.4V servo.
The Spiderpi Pro also features an independent power switch for stable power supply, a channel PWM servo port with avoiding current protection, a 6 axis sensor IC for data collection, GPIO pins, and 4 IIC ports for user extensions. It is also compatible with Hiwonder sensors.
