ArmPi mini is an AI Vision Robotic Arm powered by Raspberry Pi 4B. With built-in inverse kinematics algorithm and HD camera, it is Python programmable and can perform functions like color recognition, color sorting, target tracking and intelligent stacking and many more.
It is the ideal Open Source robot arm to accompany your learning journey about machine vision, OpenCV, inverse kinematics algorithms and etc. Abundance of AI ideas are awaiting you to accomplish with ArmPi mini!
1. First Person Vision, Inverse Kinematics
1) Immersive FPV Experience ——Loaded with HD wide angle camera, ArmPi mini possesses first person vision to better pick and transfer objects.
2) Inverse Kinematics for Precise Control——ArmPi mini has built-in inverse kinematics which can calculate the motion angle of each joints after target coordinate is input so as to control servos accurately.
2. AI Vision Recognition, Target Tracking
ArmPi mini takes OpenCV as image processing library and utilizes FPV camera to recognize and locate the target object so as to realize color sorting, target tracking, intelligent stacking, and other AI games.
1) Target Tracking——With vision positioning and inverse kinematics algorithm of the robotic arm, the target object can be better targeted and tracked.
2) Color Sorting——By recognizing color of the target and getting its coordinate, ArmPi mini is able to carry out color recognition, pick and sort stuffs.
3) Intelligent Stacking——It can stack target objects one by one after recognizing and locating them.
3. APP Control Makes AI Easier
Android and iOS APP are available for robot remote control. Via the APP, you can control robot in real time and switch various AI games just by one tap.
