- Explore engineering and design through hands-on experiences in additive manufacturing
- Practice product design from prototyping to production
Through the Entrepreneurship and Manufacturing Classroom course, students will explore engineering and design through participation in hands-on learning experiences in additive manufacturing. Creating a prototype is an important part of the engineering design process. Utilizing both 3D printers and the Mayku vacuum former, students will be able to create realistic prototypes, act as engineers, and gain a deeper understanding of the iterative nature of the engineering design process. The Entrepreneurship and Manufacturing course truly encompasses the spirit of engineering and design while integrating entrepreneurial skills, naturally supporting student resilience, independence, and creativity.
