The 36mm Diameter High Torque Planetary Gear Motor, 24V, 23RPM is a compact and cost-effective motor and planetary (epicyclic) gearbox combination, offering a speed and torque output that makes it ideal for use as a drive motor in robotics applications up to 60kg. The 8mm diameter long output shaft enables easy mounting of wheels, pulleys and other accessories.
The motor can be operated between 6 and 30V DC, with operating characteristics given for operation at either 12V or 24V DC. This motor is smaller and faster, making it a popular choice amongst robotics hobbyists and special effects designers. The long output shaft is designed to make mounting as easy as possible, but be sure to independently support any larger overhanging loads.
Two copper tabs at the back of the body can be used to solder or crimp wires to, or you can opt for 500mm long silicone insulated leads (1mm2) to be installed ready for use. Please allow an extra working day for processing if a lead option is added, as these are soldered and insulated to order.
